According to the openSUSE forum, to update Evolution to version 3.8, I
would have to update the entire Gnome system.  As I stated, I'm using
KDE, so I don't have all of Gnome installed.  I really don't want to
introduce any more instabilities.  Does this mean I'll have to live with
this until I change my version of openSUSE?

Seems to me, I remember this problem occurred way, way back and was
fixed.  It came back?
