Hi, it looks like the settings are not complete, even you found some .source file which looks like being complete. I suggest a simple test: a) open evolution and delete the existing EWS account b) File->New->Mail Account (eventually Edit->Preferences->Mail Accounts->Add) c) write the name and email address there, you can skip the settings lookup and click Next d) then pick "Exchange Web Services" server type and correct the "Host URL" value e) click the "Fetch URL" button f) then just click Next until you get to the last page and there click Finish (not in any earlier page). I do not think you did anything differently in a)-d) before, but the e) and f) could make a difference, especially when entering certain page fills values to other pages. The step e) also makes difference, there used to be a bug in some older versions where skipping it caused incomplete configuration. Whether the bug is in your ancient version I do not recall, I'm sorry. In case it won't help, try changing the authentication method. NTLM usually works, but there can be servers which require Basic authentication instead. Finally, run evolution from a terminal with EWS debugging on: $ EWS_DEBUG=2 evolution which will show what evolution sends to the server and what it receives. Maybe it'll show the issue.
