Hi, that sounds odd. The `kill -9 $PID` should kill the process always. > To me this looks like a simple handshake failure, but not a reason > for Evolution to completely crash. Am I missing something ? It's from glib-networking, not from the Evolution code, and the developers there decided the misbehavior is that important that it deserves an abort of the application. It makes sense, when the internal structures are "out of sync". This is the related downstream report: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1719987 It also references other reports, including the upstream report: https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/glib-networking/issues/97 Bye, Milan _______________________________________________ evolution-list mailing list evolution-list@gnome.org To change your list options or unsubscribe, visit ... https://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/evolution-list
