I believe that this change in CVS fixes just that problem.  Anyway, since compiling this version, I haven't seen the problem of re-firing alarms.  (It's in CVS for 1.2 and 1.3)  I would guess it will officially be in 1.2.2.

        notification time when we update the config to last notification, so
        alarms will not get trigged again if a new calendar window is opened.
