well, unfortunately there is no newer version than 1.0.5 in debian for powerpc. not even in sid. Architecture: powerpc Version: 1.0.5-1 and the script on go.ximian tells: book:/etc/apt# wget -q -O - http://go.ximian.com |sh ==> Autodetecting system type... Sorry, the Ximian Installer is not available for computers of type `ppc'. Please see http://www.ximian.com/ for more information.
