I've never used in Mozilla. Evo 1.4 is a GNOME application and I
configured it using the gnome-control-center.
Try using 'File Associations' ('File Types and Programs' in some
versions, 'gnome-file-types-properties' from command line) in
'preferences:///' ('preferences:///System' on some,
'gnome-control-center').
You want to edit
Internet Services > Unknown service types
Enter
galeon -n "%s"
or
galeon -x "%s"
or
galeon -t "%s"
To -n is new window, -x is use existing window, -t is new tab.
