Just happened now, blocked on "pinging imap server", with 1.5 from
redcarpet from today or yesterday (can't remember exactely).
The difference with the old behavior from 1.4 is that now, the "stop"
button is effective (no need to wait for the timeout).
I can test a bit further tomorrow, if it can help.
