For people using 1.5 from head still, and not 2.0 from the gnome-2-8 branch, keep an eye out for any change in ssl operation.  I've just committed a patch which makes the cancel button function during an ssl connect, rather than taking 4 minutes to timeout if there are network or configuration issues.

Particularly keep an eye out for changes in behaviour such as getting spurious timeout errors or failed connections, etc.
