More on this. And, I should say, I'm puzzled why my "Save as..." selections
in evolution 2.0.2 are somehow configured to save as HTML.

I prefer plain text.

AFAIK, things should work under Exchange 2000 as well as 2003. Earlier we had
an Exchange 5.5 server which does not work properly with connector and
evolution.<BR>

Once I got &quot;Microsoft Exchange&quot; as an option, I regained my calendar

Regarding my earlier problem, viz<BR>
<TT>&gt; </TT>One quirk, under Evo 1.4.6 the Settings/Edit/Receiving
Mail/Server Types<BR>
<TT>&gt; </TT>offered MS Exchange but not under Evo 2.0.2 - just IMAP, None,
mbox,<BR>
etc.<BR>
<BR>
This was resolved when I Read The Directions in README in evolution-2.0.2 and
did what it said (brown paper bag over head time).<BR>
<BR>
&quot;....Edit the bonobo-activation-config.xml file &quot;<BR>

adding the right lines. Then, Microsoft Exchange as a possible Mail receiving
service, which was available in connector, was found by evolution and could be
selected, as well as for sending mail (but outbound sending mail doesn't really
go - it just accumulates in an Outbox &quot;On This Computer&quot;. When I
actually need to send mail I fire up mutt and connect to my local sendmail. Not
quite all the way there:)<BR>
