Hey, Welcome to my world! Spellchecking works on my work notebook (Mandrake 8.1), but not on my home desktop (Mandrake 8.1). I have the same packages installed on both machines:
spellutils-0.7-2mdk pspell-0.12.2-4mdk ispell-3.1.20-17mdk libaspell10-0.33.7.1-2mdk aspell-en-0.33.7.1-2mdk gnome-spell-0.4-2mdk libpspell4-0.12.2-2mdk aspell-0.33.7.1-2mdk ispell-en-3.1.20-17mdk libpspell4-devel-0.12.2-2mdk Nobody seems to be able to give me a clue on how to debug the problem. I am even twillin to hack the source! Very frustrating!
