Yep its a bug - its a known issue too, and already has a bug entry.

The sent folder by default doesn't show up in vfolders so that things
like unmatched aren't full of stuff you're not interested in.  There's
obviously some mess in that code which is getting 'confused' when it
shouldn't be.
