No. The best you can do is download the message, make your changes locally, and then re-upload it back to the IMAP server (which will result in the new message have a different UID than the original) and then deleting the original. This, what you really want with this whole thread is to use server-side filtering. Otherwise vFolders wouldn't be a reality, no? Sure, but solving problems that don't exist is just wasting time (there aren't any viruses that can affect Evolution like Melissa, ILoveYou, etc). Along the same lines, solving problems that are already solved is also a waste of time (if you want a virus scanner for your email, this is best done on the SERVER not the CLIENT).
