Right, that's correct. I did the following: 1. In a terminal window, I started an editor in insert mode. 2. In the message you sent me as I was reading it, I selected some text and hit CTRL-C. 3. In the terminal window, I did both EDIT->PASTE and CTRL-V, and there was nothing there.
