I agree: It's not Evolution. I poll 4 different email accounts with Evolution, and the problem only occurs with one; the one on which SpamAssassin is enabled. To clarify: I am not running any MTA on my box. It's only a workstation that gets email from my web hosts/ISPs. FWIW, the account in question is on a Linux server, running the exim v 3.36 MTA.
