Works for me; I have the following:

aspell-0.33.7.1-7mdk
aspell-en-0.33.7.1-7mdk
aspell-en_CA-0.33.7.1-7mdk
aspell-en_GB-0.33.7.1-7mdk
gnome-spell-0.5-1.ximian.3
ispell-3.2.06-6mdk
ispell-en-3.2.06-6mdk
libaspell10-0.33.7.1-7mdk
libpspell4-0.12.2-7mdk
myspell-en_CA-1.0.1-0.20020315.4mdk
pspell-0.12.2-7mdk

Note that only *aspell*, *pspell*, and gnome-spell are used by
Evolution. ispell and myspell are pretty much noise in this context.
The problem may be in the "tex" packages; where did the come from?
