Or, Nothing is lost. I can bring this content over. It will take me several days; it's hours of work to bring it under the new site.
As to policies, you might want to also bring Scot Schultz and Jim Ryan into the conversation. -----Original Message----- From: Or Gerlitz [mailto:ogerl...@mellanox.com] Sent: Monday, March 28, 2011 1:14 PM To: Ken Strandberg Cc: Bill Boas; ewg Subject: RE: [ewg] Web site update Hi Ken, 1st, and most - there were tons (and I mean that) of precious materials on the older site from the 2008 and 2009 OFA Sonoma conferences, we must find them and make them available onsite, were they all lost? 2nd, as for this directive of being unable to read materials unless you're a member, I'm copying Bill Boas, maybe he can explain the rational - Bill, if the subscription idea is to get people who are interested to receive the newsletter to sign for it through their subscription, why make visibility for the rest of the content be dependent on that subscription as well? There are links to this content from the page you reference, though with our current style sheet the links are NOT very clear. We are working on changing the style sheet to make these look more obvious. If you use this page, look for where it says to download ...'here.' And click on here. If you've done that, you should be taken to a page with the names of downloadable files. Then you just click on the Download button for the file you want. Another way to get these files is under the OFED/OFA Resources menu > OFA Doc Downloads > Videos or Presentations. If you aren't seeing the pages with Download buttons, please let me know. You have access rights to all this content. And please let me know what browser you're using if you can't get to these pages. I need to make sure they are available to the appropriate users. Regarding access rights, I'm just implementing what I've been directed by the organization's management. You should contact one of the Exec team if you have concerns regarding our policies. But, ANYTHING regarding the web site should be directed to me. Please let me know whether or not this helps. Either way. Thanks. Also after doing registration/login I can't get any content from previous conferences @ http://www.openfabrics.org/jofa/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id =30&Itemid=16 any idea if this is broken or I'm doing something which is wrong?
