Hello Rupert, Sorry but I'm not aware of any code in ib_srp that could make module unload crash. However, the patch I just posted on this mailing list should fix a deadlock that could be triggered by module unload on pre-2.6.36 kernels. Regarding the screenshot attached to http://bugs.openfabrics.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=2374: several essential pieces of information are missing from that screenshot. E.g. was the kernel reporting a BUG: or just an INFO: message that a task was blocked for more than 120s ? The call trace itself is missing too. Such information can be collected either via a serial console or by gathering kernel logs on a remote system via netconsole.
