Broadcom needs upstream perftest patches, how do we support with a roll back to

Devesh, what is status of this? If needed, please open a new bug with details.
I have filed a bug 2701 in the bugzilla.
Nothing else seem to be blocking from Broadcom's side it seems.
However, I have a concern about rdma-core failing due to missing
dependencies at a later stage. Is it possible to make install.pl to fail before
compilation begins like the way it fails for tcl-devel etc.
Vlad, Is it possible to apply Broadcom's perftest patch to our rolled
back pertest 4.4-0.3 package?
https://bugs.openfabrics.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2701 Also, can you
comment on the rdma-core failures with missing dependencies? Is this
something we can flag earlier in installation? Thanks, Arlin
Hi,
I have no way to maintain my own version of perftest package.
If a pull request can be created on github based on the latest version
of perftest I can ask maintainers to build the new version with the fix.
What is the missing dependency for rdma-core, is there a bug for this?
Regards,
Vladimir
