Need: Tool and Test Engineer position
Duration: 3 months
Rate: $40/hr
Location: Quakertown, PA
Academic Degree(s) required:
4 Year Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering
Experience Required:
* Minimum 5 years experience in software (C++, C#)
1. 2 years of these in C# - must have
* Minimum 2 years experience in analog electrical design
* Understand manufacturing equipment safety requirements (i.e.
grounding, 2 hand rule, Class I, II)
* Familiarity with Communication Protocols (Ethernet, USB, RS-485)
* Good communication skills including the ability to quickly and
effectively communicate issues and concerns.
Experienced Desired:
* Manufacturing test equipment design and implementation
* Knowledge of National Instruments equipment
* Knowledge of PCAD schematic
* Experience working in larger development teams (>5 designers)
Principal Accountabilities:
* Design of manufacturing test equipment (software and analog)
* Work with outside suppliers in the design / fabrication of this
equipment
* Oversee the qualification of this equipment (Gage studies, cycling,
etc.)
* Document test systems (Schematics, BOM's)
