Must be able to create and understand requirements/design documents. 4. DCS procedures must comply with the development standards that have been established. 5. Create test cases based upon supplied business requirements and expectations. 6. Execute thorough unit and regression testing as assigned. 7. Manage monthly data extract and clean up as defined procedures. Qualifications and Experience Required: 1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or related discipline, or equivalent knowledge and experience. 2.* 2 years progressive experience in C#, Visual Basic, or .NET programming is required.* 3. *2 years experience with relational databases and a proficiency in the use of Structured Query Language and/or SSIS programming is a plus.* 4. Experience with Data warehousing techniques and processes are a plus. 5. Advanced analysis skills as well as proficient skills *developing ETL packages.* 6. Familiarity with Database terminology and basic objects and structures are required. 7. Knowledge of Insurance industry is preferable. 8. *Must be able to understand the subtle differences in terminology commonly used in the insurance world (Annual Premium versus Modal Premium; Account Value, Fund Value, Cash Value, Cash Surrender Value, etc.).* 9.
