Position: ADVANCE Application Developer – Visual Basic / SQL
Location: 20500 Civic Center Drive, Southfield,MI
Duration: 3- 4 months… Extensions possible.
Start Date: ASAP
Note:Inperson Interview is required :
Duties
Creating or updating technical documentation from functional
documentation
Assisting application solution design
Creating unit test cases, creating unit test plans, conducting and/or
participating in code reviews, and executing unit testing
Code development, code maintenance, code promotions
• Minimum work experience in the following area 3 - 5 years:
Strong understanding of Object Model scripting
Distributed, multi-platform architecture development on high-volume
production systems
Application integration solutions
Relational databases including SQL and stored procedures
Event-driven processing
Testing and quality assurance techniques
Experience in all phases of the SDLC, Production
Support
• Required Skills: 3- 5 years of experience
Visual Basic Scripting without an IDE – Must have strong background in
VBA scripting
Visual Basic 6.0 or VB .NET
MS-SQL Server
SDLC methodology
Developing and executing test plans
Code version control
Written and verbal communication
Ability to conform with established coding standards
• Required Tools: 3- 5 years of experience
Visual Basic 6.0, MS-SQL Server, SQL, XML
• Preferred Knowledge of:
SunGard EXP MACESS scripting (not required, but very desirable)
SSRS (Preferred strongly)
XML / XSD / XSLT (Preferred strongly)
MS-SQL Server 2008 (Preferred strongly)
Sybase, JAVA Development
SQL Stored Procedures
Facets data architecture
Facets batch processes
Oracle, PL/SQL
MS Office integration
