Possibly.*** * * *POSITION OVERVIEW * Experience designing and developing N-tiered applications, with multi-tier architecture and production architectures. Participate in the analysis, design, development and enhancement of Frameworks, and a solid knowledge of J2EE best practices. Understand, analyze, design and develop web based systems and associated modules using Weblogic, Java SDK, J2EE, HTML/DHTML/XHTML, JavaScript, SQL, ORACLE DBMS, XML, XSL,DTD/XSD, AJAX, jQuery, JDBC,JSP, JSTL, Struts1.1/2.0, Web Services, Spring Framework, Hibernate and Eclipse/MyEclipse. Perform software coding, testing, debugging, documentation and installation tasks for on-line processes in accordance with industry best practices and specific internal procedures and standards. Contribute to task identification, work effort estimates, and work schedules for development and maintenance activities. Participate in the analysis and definition of efficient, cost effective application solutions which support client business processes and functional requirements. *RESPONSIBILITIES AND FUNCTIONS* Works with cross departmental teams to provide associated deliverable required for the successful completion of development and maintenance assignments (e.g., database development, network support, help desk orientation, client training). Conduct analysis of client business processes and functional requirements and prepares appropriate documentation to communicate and validate the information. Provide on-call support as assigned. Complete administrative requirements in an accurate and timely manner (e.g., time reporting, status reporting, etc.). Work as project team member to develop Internet and Intranet Web applications for KP business users. Should also be able to lead a team. Partners with Web Administrators to test and move developed applications into production. Perform related duties as assigned or requested. Candidates must be self-motivated and willing to work in a dynamic, fast pasted, and team-oriented development environment. Consistently support compliance and the Principles of Responsibility (Kaiser Permanente's Code of Conduct) by maintaining the privacy and confidentiality of information, protecting the assets of the organization, acting with ethics and integrity, reporting non-compliance, and adhering to applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations, accreditation and licenser requirements (if applicable), and Kaiser Permanente's policies and procedures. *Position Requirements* Demonstrated excellence in breadth of technical skills and technical knowledge required respective to WebLogic, Java SDK, J2EE, Eclipse/MyEclipse, SQL, HTML/DHTML/XHTML, JavaScript, Spring Framework, Hibernate, JDBC, JSP, JSTL, Struts, XML, XSL, DTD/XSD programming development environments. Development experience with Oracle RDBMS preferred. Experience in Web Services is preferred. Experience in SOA is an added advantage. Strong skills in design and develop custom dynamic/database-driven websites to support functional and design requirements per business needs. Experience in AJAX and jQuery preferred. Good understanding of Object Oriented Analysis and Design, Design Patterns is essential. Strong skills required in critical thinking and analysis, verbal and written communications, and interpersonal interactions. Understanding of health care business and care delivery processes will be preferred but not required. Level of Education (specify level and major; Example: B.S. in Chemistry) indicates level and description. Bachelors degree, or equivalent experience, required in Computer Science or related field. Masters degree preferred Professional Certification or License (Example: CPA, CPP, none) None required.
