Candidates must have experience working with Wily Introscope (monitoring tool). *Title: Wily/WAS Administrator* *Location: Bedminster, NJ length: 6 month extendable* This position is for a Consultant to work in the Middleware/Infrastructure team. The candidate must have experience in management of H/W, S/W, Application servers, Web Servers, Middleware products and Application Monitoring. - Perform Websphere Application Server and MQ Administration, DataGrid, UNIX shell scripting, Middleware instrumentation, Infrastructure monitoring and alarming. - Installation, configuration and administration of application servers and Webservers that host intranet / internet facing Java / J2EE applications Server setup and mgmt, Infrastructure and Environment migrations - Performance tuning of J2EE applications and servers, Capacity management for organic and inorganic growth, and Fault/Trouble mgmt. - Support ongoing Production and non-production application environments, and upcoming projects. Management of critical systems / systems processes and problem resolution /escalations of data networking and system management issues - Coordination of infrastructure needs and requests across Network, SA, Data Center, Security teams - Prior experience in leading/participating in the evaluation, recommendation, and selection of hardware and software solutions based on industry trends. - Solid interpersonal/communication skills and leadership abilities regularly lead other team members in project activities. Work closely with analysts, developers, quality assurance, and production support team members to align projects and orchestrate resolutions on open issues/defects. Might also need to perform project management activities such as planning, sizing, scheduling, including implementation activities for the infrastructure team. - Ensures systems implementations occur in accordance with established Change Control procedures. Proactively communicates status reports and report issues to manager with a game plan of resolution. -- Provides technical and production support on an on-call basis Requires a Bachelor's degree or Masters’ Preferred in Computer Science/Information Systems and at least 4 years of experience in the field or in a related area - In-depth knowledge of Infrastructure mgmt, middleware architectural planning, capacity planning, performance management, and tuning of middleware systems. - Solid knowledge of IBM Websphere / MQ clustering and administration. - Solid knowledge of CA Wily monitoring and reporting. - Solid knowledge of software and patch mgmt, along with environment mgmt and upkeep. - Strong analytical skills and In-depth knowledge of IT processes. - Good knowledge of project management skills and concepts - Experience with administering, configuring IBM DataPower, WebSphere Extreme Scale (WXS) is preferred. - Experience in Networking including routing, switching, VPN, Firewall, load-balancing, network security, and network management platforms is preferred. - Experience in J2EE application development, operations/support is a plus. - Experience in Unix System Administration, UNIX shell Scripting and DB mgmt is a plus. - Experience in supporting multiple QA and Dev environments is a plus. * Please send the updated resume of the consultant along with the rate, location and contact information.
