Qualifications • 4 years’ experience in the IT industry working in the area of systems analysis and application development. • 2 years experience in a role of senior Java developer, preferably on large transactional systems. *• Working knowledge with at least one major Java EE based application server - preferably Weblogic 10.x (10.3.5)* *• Proficiency with Java EE technologies; including Java Servlets, JSP, Jquery, JSTL, JSF 2, EJB 3.0, JDBC, XML, HTML/JavaScript and Struts 1.x, JSTL, Tiles, CSS 3, JPA 2* • Working knowledge of Data Access Objects (DAO)/Command Patters(CMD) and Web Services. • Working knowledge of messaging APIs (JMS). • Working knowledge of any major RDBMS (preferably Oracle). • Hibernate framework experience a plus Responsibilities • Participates in the evaluation of client area application systems/programming requirements and processes (new, enhancements or maintenance), in the preparation of application system specifications. • Participates in the development, testing, and implementation of efficient, cost effective application solutions.
