Location: Albany, NY Duration: 12+ months Rate: Open . Installation, configuration, patching and upgrading of OBIEE and BI Publisher components . Configuration and management of the MUDE( Multi User Development Environment) process including merging of RPD . Provide admin support to BI development teams including creation of project specific folders in the OBIEE tier . Performance monitoring, tuning and system management of multiple OBIEE environments . Work closely with engineers to design, implement and delegate components; provide accurate work estimates for proposed projects; and actively participate in resolving key issues that impact the performance of the product. . Manage migration process of OBIEE components . Manage overall security of OBIEE environments . Scaling out and configuring for high availability . Provide technical support to BI OBIEE application delivery teams with environment requests to support development, test, QA, activities. . modification to OBIEE/BIP application architecture as needed . Provide technical support for security configuration and deployment. . Provide knowledge transfer and technical training to State ITS staff in the support and development of OBIEE and BIP . Support the design and implementation of star schema data warehouses. . Contribute ideas to improve product functionality, maintainability and/or performance of Data Warehouse products. Cross-train other data warehouse developers on product features. Analyze and recommend commercially available software. Skills Needed . Minimum 84 months installing configuring, patching and upgrading OBIEE components including Web Logic application server across multiple environments. Experience in all tiers of OBIEE/BIP architecture from Physical to Presentation layers. . Minimum 84 months configuring and managing of MUDE(Multi User Development Environment) process including merging portions of RPD. . Minimum 84 months OBIEE performance monitoring, tuning, modifications to application architecture and system management of multiple OBIEE and BIP environments. . Minimum 84 months experience technical problem analysis, solution development and deployment. . Minimum 84 months managing overall security of OBIEE and BIP environments. . Minimum 36 months experience configuring OBIEE for high availability . Minimum 24 months configuring and managing GIS mapping within OBIEE. . Minimum 60 designing and developing star schemas, providing expertise on design and integration with OBIEE/BIP . Minimum 84 months assisting with and facilitating communications, which requires the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
