We have an immediate Openings with Our Direct Client for a Long term contract position *Lead - Sr. Informatica Developer (with telecom exp)* *Data Conversion /Migration* *Location: Allen / Addison, TX* *Duration: 12+Months* *10+ years of experience in Informatica leading development teams * *Summary*: The plant data transformation lead will be responsible for the successful migration of Verizon plant data to Frontier applications. The person will be responsible for providing technical direction and leadership to a team of 7 to 12 individuals identify and transfer critical plant data. This position will require exceptional business and technical acumen to understand the data and how to migrate it effectively using Informatica/SQL scripting. Plant Knowledge of Inside Plant, Outside Plant, Line Cards, HSI, Triad, Customer. Experience in mapping telecom OSS conversions. Proficient in SQL commands. Oversee data mapping and transformation of all plant data from Verizon to Frontier applications Provide hands-on technical guidance to team to assist with data mapping. The lead should expect to know and understand the system data structure and relevance of data. The ideal leader should be able to assist with challenge SQL queries and also provide guidance to identify the location of data when necessary "10+ years of experience in leading development teams and technical personnel, working with business partners, and SDLC end-to-end experience. Previous consulting experience preferrred. 10+ years of Telecom business processes and network topologies Knowledge of MS\Office, including proficiency in MS\Excel macros. 5+ years expertise in PL/SQL queries/programming and Oracle/DB2 database. Experience with Java is desired – the plan is to refactor and transition some RPG code on the 400 to either Java or SQL depending on the complexity and resource consumption of the function Expert on outside plant facilities and central office equipment In-depth knowledge of network provisioning, and advanced technical support functions Previous experience using DPI, Informatica, and RPG/AS400 is preferred. Ability to lead a team of people Ability to teach experienced developers different methodologies, work within a team of people and to communicate succinctly in writing and orally with upper management, developers, project managers, and other parts of the business.
