We have an immediate Openings with Our Direct Client for a Long term contract position *Job Title: Sr. Network Engineer 3 With F5 Load Balancer and Cisco Nexus exp* *Location: Marlborough, MA* *Duration: 12 Months* *Overview:* We are a Cisco shop utilizing the Cisco Nexus platform, legacy Cisco IOS, and Cisco ASA firewall platforms. Routing protocols, EIGRP and BGP. Cisco Nexus experience, Cisco routing and switching experience is required. F5 load balancer experience is required. Bluecoat proxy experience would be a nice to have but not required for this position. Must be able to work with other teams and lead *Must Haves:* Cisco Nexus experience - expert. F5 load balancer experience - expert. **All Projects require expert level F5 experience** *Network Engineer 3 - Job Description* *Duties/Responsibilities* · Provides medium to high complexity network support activities including off-shift support. · Designs and completes network Engineering and Administration maintenance tasks and analyzes process for improvement. · Performs medium to high complexity network changes and implementations. · Participates in the network technology design process. · Participates in disaster recovery exercises. · Analyzes potential changes and enhancements to network environment to determine impact on existing production, design standards and operating procedures. · Works as a member of project team on Business projects. May lead teams on smaller projects. · Provides direction and guidance to more junior associates. · Performs other duties as assigned. *Skills/Knowledge* · Requires in-depth knowledge of Network Hardware and Software Technologies and best practices · Advanced within Network Technology Discipline (i.e. IP routing and switching, Routing Protocols, WAN, Firewall, Packet Analysis, IP Telephony, Infrastructure, Capacity Planning, Call Center, IT Tools and other relevant technologies) · Strong knowledge of the organization, processes and customers · Advanced in incident and change management principles and best practices *Preferred Skills* · Tools: NetScout, Voyence (Networking Management tool), ServiceNow · Lots of telephone support experience, level 3. · Level 3 Support Troubleshooting · Knowledge of executing Cisco and HP network commands remotely using the Voyence network management tool. · Cisco Certification *Experience* · Minimum 5 years of experience installing and building network and providing operational support.
