Position: TWS Administrator Duration: 7 months Location: Minneapolis MN This is a Tivoli Workload Scheduler (TWS) Administrator position. IBM Tivoli Workload Scheduler is a family of *IBM Tivoli* <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IBM_Tivoli> *workload automation* <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Workload_automation> products that plan, execute and track jobs on several platforms and environments. It comprises two products: Workload Scheduler for z/OS, previously known as OPC Workload Scheduler, previously known as Maestro when IBM acquired Unison Software in 1997
*Specific Deliverables of this engagement include the following:* · Ability to meet with customers, gather business requirements, turning them into technical requirements, develop customer presentations and training materials. · Ability to provide basic project management and coordination skills to meet customer’s project schedules · Experience working with TDWS, TDWC, Job Scheduling Console to support business lines including but not limited to creating and monitoring distributed agents, calendar and schedule creation, forecasting, filter set up and library maintenance in a 24 x 7 production environment. · Experience working with, monitoring and management of mainframe scheduling using TWS, TSO, JCL, RACF security and Linux to enable the execution of automated batch scheduling tasks in a 24x7 production environment. · Experience working with secure file transfer technologies · Ability to use and understand job control language, Windows CMD and linux/Unix in a TWS environment · Trouble shooting job failures, taking the appropriate corrective action · Incident management through the use of SCSM · Monthly team activity recap reporting to management · Metrics capture for planning and forecasting purposes · Make suggestions for continuous improvement to the environment, SOP and business processes *Impact/Outcome:* · Provide a full time resource to continue the efforts for TWS administration for distributed and mainframe environments *Additional Comments:* · Contractor Personnel is not authorized to work offsite or on any network other than those under the ownership and direction of Hennepin County, without prior written approval of Contractor -- Thanks & Regards Rathna kumar Bourntec Solutions, Inc., Phone: 847 780 1045 Ext 6272 rat...@bourntec.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Exact Match" group.
