*Duration: **12**+ Months * *Position Description:* The Arizona Department of Transportation is currently seeking a Systems Engineer in Phoenix, AZ, with an emphasis on data center operations in support of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS). Ideal candidate will have direct administrator experience with building, maintaining and optimizing enterprise-class network management systems (NMS) toward continuously improving service availability and reliability. Operating environment includes but is not limited to Private and Public Cloud infrastructures on VMWare Virtual Windows Servers and Amazon Web Services (AWS), Active Directory, Group Policy, Citrix and Exchange. Additional responsibilities include general data center operations including Windows Server operating system administration/troubleshooting, and data center operations in a medium/large, highly-available enterprise environment.
