Minimum Qualifications

·  Bachelors degree in related field preferred.

·  Minimum of 5 years of relevant emergency management experience required.

·  Minimum of 5 years experience managing large scale emergency management
plans across multiple geographic areas.

·  Emergency or Disaster experience required.

·  Must have demonstrated knowledge and/or skills in the following areas:

·  Experience with emergency management policies and procedures development
and compliance

·  Knowledge of Emergency Management testing/ execution

·  Experience managing third party recovery site personnel

·  Knowledge of industry standard practices in Emergency Management

·  Knowledge and practical experience with NIMS

·  Associate Business Continuity Planner (ABCP) accreditation required.
Certified Business Continuity Planner (CBCP) or Certified Dis Recovery





This position serves as subject matter expert for Lifetime Healthcare
Companies emergency management. The incumbent is responsible for
coordinating advance arrangements and procedures to ensure the Lifetime
Healthcare Companies Incident Management Teams can respond to an emergency
event and/or critical business function interruption. Also responsible for
assessing community needs during disaster situations. Responsibilities
include the design, development, maintenance, and exercising of the
Incident Management Team program for each critical area of the
organization. These programs must address three major elements of the risk
mitigation, response and recovery process: 1) emergency response including
managing emergency communications ; 2) securing the safety of staff,
visitors and assets of the organization, including managing the risk
assessment process and delivering site-specific Emergency Management Plans
(including identifying alternative resources for operational sustainability
(e.g. supplies for shelter-in-place scenarios). and 3) coordinating work
with the Business Continuity Program Manager and Crisis Management Teams
for the resumption of Normal Business following a disaster. This position
is responsible for managing emergency communications, developing and
maintaining emergency response protocols, participating in all incident
management events, actual disaster recovery efforts, as well as, setting
corporate program exercise goals, developing project plans and delivering
the Incident Management training exercises. Additional responsibilities
include assisting with coordinating all non IT support necessary to support
semiannual Disaster Recovery exercises, maintenance of several applications
essential to the success of the Business Resilience Program, such as the
emergency notification tool, SendWordNow.
