Location: Des Moines, IA Duration: 12+ months Rate: Open Responsibilities: * The Salesforce Developer develops, configures, codes, tests, and debugs complex new software, enhancements to existing proprietary software or purchased software packages. * Performs technical analysis, design, configuration, and implementation support for system integrations and Salesforce customizations * Follows Salesforce.com's best practices and guidelines in implementing solutions. * Possess strong communications skills. * Able to work on multiple concurrent projects. * Ability to proactively participate in customer engagements, follow direction from lead technicians, work with customers, and participate in technical planning. * Shall maintain a positive working relationship with coworkers, supervisors and customers and present a positive team environment and customer focus. * Shall adhere to OCIO work rules. * Communicates and collaborates with other technical resources and stakeholders regarding status, technical issues and creative solutions * Researches and keep current on force.com technologies and communicates trends and future needs from a business perspective Skills: * The ability to develop and support applications using Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Community, Visual Force, Chatter and the Force.com platform. * Conceptualizes, prepares and creates detailed technical specifications from which complex programs will be written or configured * Develops solutions using Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Marketing Cloud and Visual Force. Complies with all required Company policies and practices relating to the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) * Develops custom applications and perform testing using Salesforce.com APEX and Visualforce pages * Writes, tests, analyzes, and implements high quality code according to specifications * Understands and leverage the Salesforce provided APIs and components of Salesforce AppExchange for developing custom objects * Creates reports and dashboards using Salesforce to meet the reporting and analytical requirements of the business users * Provides Tier II Support for Salesforce applications and manage service tickets needing escalation to Salesforce * Supports Salesforce.com configuration tasks such as field/page updates, workflows, automated approvals Skills Needed The ability to develop and support applications using Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Community, Visual Force, Chatter and Force.com Required 5 Years Conceptualizes, prepares and creates detailed technical specifications from which complex programs will be written or configured Required 5 Years Develops solutions using Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Marketing Cloud and Visual Force.
