Hi All, I wonder if someone can guide me how to create a bar cutting optimisation in excel. as i have stock lenght of 5 meters. for example i require 5 pc. of 3 meters, 6 pc 1.2 meters, 4 pc 2.1 meters, and the list could go on. I would like to get the minimum number of bar @ 5.0 meter lenght that is enough for the given list of bars of varying length. It is also possible to know all the materials that have not been used.
