Hi,

Forst Select your dat then go to format in the Home Menu(if your using Excel
2007) or format if you are using older versions.In the format menus dialog
box  you can select date formats as you like.At the last the is Customs
format. If you select that and specify what ever type of format you want(i.e
dd/mm/yyyy hh.mm.ss or anything else).Only in Custom format you can
customize and specify the format you like your text to be in. You can also
use formulas for changing the format  as specified below  by our friend.
