Hey Anil,

Microsoft Excel stores numbers with up to 15 digits of precision. If a
number contains more than 15 significant digits, Microsoft Excel converts
the extra digits to zeros (0).

You have 2 options:-

You already know one of them
Put an apostrophe (') in front of the number.
That's OK for occasional use.

The other is to set the number format for the range of cells to Text
<format><cells><number tab>
Category: Text......Click [OK]
Now whatever you type in the cells will be interpreted as text, including
numbers and formulas.
