Here's how you open a recordset after connecting with an access database
through visual basic
set conn=Server.CreateObject("ADODB.Connection")
conn.Provider="Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0"
conn.Open "c:/mydatabase.mdb"
set rs=Server.CreateObject("ADODB.recordset")
rs.Open "Select * from EmplyeeDetails", conn
