Hello. Column A, Column B Date 1, CashFlow 1 Date 2, Cash Flow 2 Date 3, Cas Flow X
I want to solve for Cash Flow X so that it gives me a number such that the stream of cash flows (and the associated dates) results in a 10% return (using the XIRR function)? Is there a forumla that I can enter into the cell where I am calculating X that I can use to accomplish this? I think I am going to incur a circular reference, since I am trying to calculate a number (X) which is dependent on the set of cash flows that includes X. Is there a way around this?
