Hi friends,

For the sake of learning I just keep doing some thing or the other, mostly
in excel. Once something occurred to me and this is what I have
accomplished so far -

Please view the video to understand what exactly I am talking about
(recommended in full screen for better view).

As can be viewed, whenever I need to add a movie details in this file I
have to manually enter the same. Before this, I tried several movie manager
softwares, but none of them seemed perfect (due to one or the other
problem). These movie manager sofwares use scripts (PHP or Sql, may be, I
have no idea) to connect to different movie database sites (imdb, amazon,
etc.) and then to automatically download the details, covers, etc.

My question - is there any way we can make some thing similar to those
scripts OR incorporate one of them in VBA to retrieve these details via
Excel only.

The reason why am I asking this - I have 1200+ Hollywood movies, 200+
Bollywood movies, 300+ Documentaries, Over 40 seasons of various serials
(Prison Break, Two and a Half Men, I dream of jeannie, Lie to me, Big bang
theory, How I met your mother, etc.) and some other stuff. Now you all can
easily understand that I would loose all my hair if I had to update all
these.....manually.

Any and all ideas are welcome.

I would be happy to share further details if anyone is interested in
working with me on this.

Thanks & regards,

Abhishek
