One of our Client is looking for a Java Developer

As a member of a software development team, design, develop, and test
enhancements to an existing custom Java LIMS (Laboratory Information
Management System) to meet new business requirements. Qualifications:


Must have skills/experience:


• 5+ years of experience with Java

 • Significant experience building web applications, especially JSP-based
legacy applications

• Oracle or another enterprise-class RDBMS

• Ant

• Experience with revision control systems, i.e. Subversion

• SQL (Oracle preferred)

• Experience working on small development teams

• Web services

*The must have skill "JSP-based legacy applications" is critical. Not only
must the candidate have experience with JSP-based applications, he or she
must also be willing to work with this technology, which is not state of
the art. *


Nice to have skills/experience:


• Spring MVC, Struts, or similar.

• JPA and/or Hibernate

• Unit testing with JUnit or TestNG

 • jQuery or other similar JavaScript libraries

• Eclipse

• JDK 1.6

• Maven2

• Tomcat/JBoss application server

• Biotech/pharma or some other type of scientific organization
• Laboratory instrument integration
