Hi there, Experts,

I use the "FREQUENCY" command a lot to group data into buckets via an
array. It works great. I was wondering if there is a reverse function for
this. In other words a lookup that allows to use buckets.

Say in column A1 I have the minimum value of a bucket, in this example 0,
in B1 the upper border of the bucket, say 5, in C1 the data I corresponding
to this bucket. Then
A2 is 6, B2 is 10 and C2 again the data for this second bucket. How can I
create a lookup into this table and search for the data that corresponds to
the lookup value 3. In this case, it would be the first bucket. Same thing
with lookup value 7 which would in this case return the value of the second
bucket. Also, how do I avoid gaps like between bucket 1 and 2 here, in this
case between 5 and 6?

Thanks again. Appreciate all y'all's help.
Christoph
