Job Description:

   - Around 8+ years of experience in Database Administration in SQLServer
   for production support( 24/7)****
   - Good in Database Administration on Production Servers with server
   configuration, performance tuning and maintenance with outstanding
   troubleshooting capabilities.****
   - Administering SQL Server High Availability.****
   - Good in Database backup and recovery models.****
   - Worked on Database migration activity****
   - Expertise on high availability like Replication,  Database mirroring,
   Log shipping and clustering****
   - Strong technical background along with the ability to perform business
   analysis and write effective documentation****
   - Hands on experience of developing applications using Sql Server
   2000,2005,2008 and 2012 DBA.****
   - Very good experience in Installation, configuration and maintenance of
   SQL Server.****
   - Excellent backend skills in creating SQL objects like Tables, Stored
   Procedures, Views, Indexes, Triggers, Rules, Defaults, user defined data
   types and functions.****
   - Very good T-SQL Programming skills. Experience in query optimization &
   performance tuning. Used SQL Profiler, Execution Plan, Performance
   Monitor and DBCC Commands****
   - Experience in Log shipping, Mirroring and Replication – Snapshot,
   Merge and Transactional.****
   - Experience in data migration from Oracle/Access/Excel Sheets toSQL Server
   2005/2000/7.0 will be an added advantage.****
   - Experience in MS SQL Server upgrades from 7.0 to MS SQL Server 2000
   and from 2000 to MS SQL server 2005 and to SQL Server 2008.****
   - Worked in OLTP environment that includes Production, QA and
   development databases in SQL Server.****
   - Has Knowledge on SSIS, SSAS and SSRS will be an added advantage.****
   - Knowledge in third party SQL server monitoring tools like
SQLSentry,SQL Diagnostic,
   comvault backups will be an advantage.****
   - Has the ability to work in a fast paced environment, Good team player
   and can work independently from client location and needs to drive offshore
   team from US.
