Guys: I started with the same response, until I noticed that I believe what he's saying is that the value in the cell is NOT an Excel date: He said: "Now it is not in system's date format" so, he cannot change the display format to display it in another date format. the solution using the parsing the string and re-assembling it as a valid date is what is necessary.
