REALLY need more infomation. I was tempted to leave it at that: ask for more info, but not say what info is needed.
There ARE functions that CAN be used (or used in combination) to count duplicate records. But it REALLY depends on the format of the data and what is considered "duplicate". you said you wanted a "formula". By "formula", do you mean Excel "function" or VBA functions in a macro?
