My Windows environment is set to display dates in m/d/yyyy format. When I opened
your CSV file in Excel, the dates converted properly to what I see in the
native .csv file.
So.. is the problem with your expectations? or a problem with the report
generation?

It'll be difficult to guess the issue without seeing the original (unconverted)
data. Can you try importing it as "text" or even saving it as an ASCII file
without ever bringing it to Excel?
Also, the problem is that what *I* see when I open the file may not be what YOU
see.since my7 default date format for Windows may be different than yours.
For instance, MY system show dates in the m/d/yyyy format,so the first dates I
see look like:#1-4 is 1/16/2001#5-28 is 2/16/2001
My initial impression is that the info you receive is not in an expected
format. These dates could very well look like: d-yyyy-mwhich would mean that
these dates would really be January 1, 2016 and January 2, 2016.
it would really help to see the raw data.

 PSA.
Cannot figure out how to fix this or change settings so that the date is
consistent.
The dates on attached are downloaded from the web. Once imported, they change
format.
The dates in this should be between Oct 2015 and Feb 2016.
I have tried various system and excel date settings - no luck.
Any suggestions.
