I need to find out an excel lease amortization formula which generates equal monthly payments with unusually low capital repayments and higher interest e.g. starting from the month of March , the payment is 1400,56 which is split 322,68 capital and 1077,88 interest on a lease with 5,625% yearly rate, 6 years (72 payments) and 253000 principal. At December 31 the capital repayment is 15665,91 interest is 1140,81 (total 16806,72). Can anyone help me with this amortization formula if it is some kind of annuity or is it a nonsense calculation ? Thanks a lot
