*Location : Downtown Philadelphia, PA* *Duration : Ongoing/Long term contract* *Interview : Phone and f2f* *No H1B* * Job Description:* · The role is responsible for improving the quality of software that is delivered to Corps end-users and external clients and partners. · The QA Analyst develops and publishes test suites; implements test plans and scripts for software developed by Corps and/or integration partners. · The QA Analyst writes and maintains test automation and develops quality assurance standards that meet the requirements of the end-users and IT management. · Defines and tracks quality assurance metrics such as defect densities and open bug counts. Works as part of the Scrum team to detail bug findings and test new releases. · Formulates strategy for regression testing of applications. *Primary Responsibilities:* · Develops, publishes and implements test plans for software developed by Corps Solution Delivery staff and/or external integration partners · Writes and maintains test automation and develop quality assurance standards that meet the requirements of the end-users and IT management · Performs quality and functional testing of software developed by Corps Solution Delivery and/or external integration partners; creates and executes test plans based on functional and technical requirements; identifies, manages and tracks bugs found in new releases of software, reproducing production bugs in a test environment and documents steps required to duplicate the issue · Communicates bugs found during quality assurance and functional testing to the development staff · Defines and tracks quality assurance metrics such as defect densities and open bug counts and works directly with software developers to detail bug findings and test new releases · Evaluates and recommends quality assurance software and tools *Skills/Experience:* - At least eight years’ experience with automated and manual testing of web and API-based applications - At least *5 years of automated testing experience with platforms such as TestComplete, QTP, Selenium, SOAP UI, HP Quality Center, RPD, and Test Director* - *Experience in testing Salesforce applications in Service Cloud and/or Community Cloud required* - Experience in *cloud implementations utilizing multiple vendors as part of the solution* - Experience in contributing to a scrum team that is building software solutions that are delivered to internal business users and external clients/partners required - Experience utilizing Agile tools such as TFS and Jira for tracking work - Extensive practical knowledge in importing data for use in report software, spreadsheets, graphs, and flow charts - Strong analytical, data verification, and problem solving skills required - Excellent oral and written communication skills required - Knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel) required - Strong knowledge of system testing best practices and methodologies - Ability to analyze problems in situations where the symptoms are not of a standard or familiar nature, therefore requiring independent thought and logical troubleshooting methods *Regards , * *Akshita | ** KPG99,INC <http://www.kpg99.com/>* *3240 E State, St Ext | Hamilton, NJ 08619 609-681-2602 || aksh...@kpgtech.com <aksh...@kpgtech.com> * -- Are you =EXP(E:RT) or =NOT(EXP(E:RT)) in Excel?
