Position : Python Reporting Developer

Location : Washington DC

Duration : varies 3+ months to over a year possible

We have an immediate position available for a *Python Reporting Developer* for
a short-term project that will go through the end of the year and likely
extend through March or possibly June, 2019. This role is to support our
client to develop next generation innovative products, services and
solutions.  This workstream is engaged with a user collaboration platform
housing and enterprise-wide data repository. The consultant will code
vetting reports in Python; AWS (Amazon Web Services) experience a plus.

*Qualifications:*

   - Code vetting reporting in Python.
   - Take board requirements and transfer into fast developed prototypes
   and working solutions
   - Provide expertise developing reports in python dealing with predictive
   results from analytical trending and modeling
   - Adhere to corporate templates and standards
   - Define and communicate best practices for report development
   - Work with data architects to define report performance optimized data
   models
   -
      - Develop detailed data mapping and end-to-end process flows
      - Participate in design reviews and brainstorming sessions
   - Amazon Web Services (AWS) experience strongly preferred.
      - Knowledge of SAS.
      - Experience with Hadoop or Netezza.
      - Experience with Tableau.
      - Ability to create quick prototyping solutions.
      - Experience working in Finance and/or mortgage industry a plus.
      - Experienced working in agile development practices.
