Please find attached JD for Java SOA Developer with WebSphere in Norwood MA. *Role:* Full Stack Developer - Java Location: Norwood MA *Key Skills:* JAVA, JEE, Web services (REST Based), Spring, Hibernate, JSON, XML, JQuery, JavaScript, WebSphere Application Server *Responsibilities* - Responsible for all aspects of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) on WebSphere Application Server (WAS) including installation, design, configuration, administration, and day-to-day management - Perform script-based automation of day-to-day business activities including network maintenance events, patching events, resiliency events, server and application deployments - Partner closely with application developers to support websites, portals, or applications hosted on servers - Partner closely with application developers to support websites, portals, or applications hosted on servers - Design, develop, maintain, and deliver highly scalable and reliable software using Java and web technologies. - Requires object-oriented expertise. - Develop unit tests and test changes using an agile methodology. - Must have strong communication skills and be able to know what to share with the customers - Provides escalated technical support by handling systems-related issues; will provide on-call technical support *Required Skills* - Strong experience in Apache Web server/IBM HTTP Server as well as an understanding of Domain Name Server (DNS) management for creating virtual servers for sites and applications leveraging WAS - Must have experience in building WebSphere or other application server cluster setup/configuration - Min 3~5 years - Agile Software development process experience. - Strong skills with Spring MVC, Spring Boot, and Hibernate. - Min 1-year Experience in developing REST services using Resteasy, Java Jersey or JAX-RS. - Experience in at least one of the following configuration management tools: PVCS, Subversion and build automation tools such as Gradle, Maven, ANT, BuildForge or similar. - Must have Unit Testing experience with tools like JUnit, Mockito etc. - Experience in at least one of the following integrated development environments: Eclipse, Idea IntelliJ, IBM RAD, or JDeveloper. - Prior JEE application development experience on Embedded TOMCAT, JBOSS Application Server or other similar JEE application servers. - Experience authoring and performance engineering SQL queries and stored procedures on DB2/MySQL is desired. - Hands-on experience coding XML Web Services using JAX* API and tools like Axis are strongly desired. - Knowledge of Micro Services, Service Oriented Architecture, and WS* standards Thanks...
