*Position: Configuration/Deployment Engineer*

*Location: Madison, NJ*

*Duration: 3+ months*



*Job Description:*

*Primary:*

·         Expertise in *Web Infrastructure design and support* is a must
and preferred.

·         Strong experience with *IIS web servers* and Microsoft Windows
Server technologies(2008/2012) Strong experience in supporting large-scale
relational databases (*MS SQL 2012/2014/2016*) Role includes Systems
Engineering, Integration, QA, and build environments with project-based
different technologies, assist Operations in Production deployment/issues
during releases.

·         Administer and maintain build and release management systems for
the .NET code.

·         Experienced with Cloud technologies both *IaaS and PaaS. (Azure*)
Creation, Modification, Administration of code repositories (*VSTS, GIT)* and
a Subject Matter Expert on CI/CD tools VSTS and TFS.

·         Good communication in both verbally and in writing to technical
and non-technical audiences of various levels.

·         Maintains and monitors all IIS applications to ensure performance
and availability.

·         Performs troubleshooting and responses to all IIS related
application issues.

·         Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.



*Secondary:*

·         Strong experience with *TCP/IP, DNS, and load balancing and
Internet technologies.*

·         This engineer should be familiar with high availability
strategies (*F5, Multiple Datacenters, DNS, Load balancers), clustering
technologies, etc.*

·         Experienced with *Microsoft scripting / automation tools.
(PowerShell, PowerShell Workflow).*

·         Good Knowledge of *DevOps processes / Agile methodology required.*
