*Job Description*

Lead & own the process of preparation of design deliverables with due
consideration for applicable Codes & Standards. Take ownership of
deliverables produced & their quality.

Experience in preparation of Packaging Design basis, Block Flow
diagram/Process Flow Diagram, Line Throughput analysis etc.

Preparation & Checking of Packaging Equipment layout as per PFD/P&ID.

Packaging calculation to arrive at Packaging equipment requirements based
on upstream plant capacity (process/mixing plant) and packaging SKU
requirement.

Preparation of Technical specification, URS and RFQ for Packaging Equipment
like Fillers, Cappers, Labelers, Case erector& Case packers, Bundlers,
Shrink tunnels, Palletizer & de-palletizers, Metal detector, Check weigher,
Stretch wrapper, Conveyors etc.

Understanding & defining requirements of Packaging line integration.

Knowledge of various types of Packaging equipment available in the market
and working knowledge of evaluating various options.

Evaluation of vendor offers and preparation of Technical Bid Analysis (TBA).

Input Collection and preparation of as-built drawings of existing plants at
site

Experience in Consultancy/design background/Packaging OEMs.

Working knowledge of AutoCAD/Inventor is preferred.

Working knowledge/exposure to FMCG (Home care, Personal Care incl. Soap,
Food & Ice- cream and Beverage plants)

Good verbal & written communication skills in English.

Strategy development for developing the technical competent to meet future
technical and pipeline projects.

Manpower estimation, work planning / forecast and effective utilization of
manpower, progress monitoring and adherence to scheduled completion of
engineering documents.

Comprehensive compliance with Quality Systems Procedure; to encourage a
First-Time-Right (FTR) approach for preparation of design deliverables.



*Domain Skill*:

-Experience in preparation of Packaging Design Basis, Block Flow
Diagram/Process Flow Diagram for Packaging Line, Throughput analysis etc.

- Knowledge of various types of Packaging equipment available in the market

per the design drawings.

- Good Communication Skills, Project Management Skills, Vendor Management.

- Must work on 3D modelling software independently.

- Should have experience on modelling of equipment and its parts

- Experience on AutoCAD / Inventor preferred

- Able to present desired information to the customers to facilitate
decision making.

- Good oral and written English language skills.

- Strong technical writing skills.

- Ability to effectively represent information and respond to questions in
a meeting environment.

- Overall responsibility for planning, leading, and execution of all
Engineering activities associated with on-going and pipeline project.
Responsible for coordinating team, providing technical direction,
requirements management.

- Strategy development for developing the technical competent to meet
