*Long term contract* *(GC, H4 EAD or USC only)* *Description:* Seeking a mobile application developer for the Customer Mobile Application that is either proficient in iOS or Android. It is vital that the candidate have an eagerness for development practices such as pair programming, test driven development, continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD). This mobile application developer is responsible for understanding the business requirements and strategy to create mobile applications that boost the quality, vision and functionality indicative of the brand. A key role will be providing technology solutions for projects and daily support of the Customer Mobile Application. The Customer Mobile Application is a key component to Customer Experience strategy and the larger IT digital strategy. *The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:* *Software Craftsmanship:* Either proficient in iOS or Android SDK and willing to learn to the opposite platform (i.e. iOS or Android) Familiarity with development tools needed to perform the job Quality-focused development practices (i.e. Clean code is a priority) *Desire and ability to work in an environment with test-driven development (TDD), continuous integration, and pair programming* Experience in stewarding an app through development, testing, and publishing in the App store including beta testing, certificate signing, profiles, review processes, etc. Understanding of UI controls and developer tools Passion for learning and continuous improvement *Adaptability:* Willing and open to try new things and explore new ideas Able to adjust quickly to something new Adaptability to test driven development concept and other development practices *Communication* Able to receive constructive feedback well and comfortable with providing constructive feedback Receives and processes direction well Effective communication style through pairing and collaboration Ability to contribute during pair programming as well as receive input from the other pair Demonstrates effective problem-solving *Principal Accountabilities:* 1. Understand mobile strategies and best practices 2. Design, Develop or modify code according to standards and practices. 3. Mobile project leadership including testing and publishing quality applications 4. Collaboration with project management, architecture, technical lead, design and technology peers 5. Participate in code reviews and team technical discussions 6. Share responsibility and assists team members in achieving goals. 7. Ability to collaborate and communicate ideas effectively with others 8. Fluent in object-oriented programming languages (i.e. Swift, Java, C#, Kotlin etc.) 9. Working with remote data via REST and JSON 10. Focus on developing useful, usable products while having an open mindset and willingness to learn from others 11. Mentor peers and junior software developers (Senior level only) 12.
